Join our team as a step down Registered Nurse in the vibrant city of Charlottesville, VA, where you'll work on a 12-bed unit dedicated to neuro trauma and neuroscience care. This unique role involves caring for patients transferred from the Neuro ICU, including those with neuro hemorrhages, post-operative spine, or ENT tumor reconstructions. The night shift runs 12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, offering a steady routine over 13 weeks. We’re looking for a nurse who can handle a patient ratio of 1:3, work every other weekend and holiday, and sometimes tackle two out of three winter holidays. If you’re certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIH, and familiar with Epic systems, this assignment could be your perfect fit—plus, approval for 40 hours off can be arranged. Experience with UVAs float policy and Virginia licensure is preferred, but pending VA licenses are welcome to apply.
