Job description
Join our team as an IMCU/Step Down RN on a 13-week contract in Lubbock, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of cardiac patients in a short-term acute care setting, floating between units as needed. The night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) allows you to experience the quieter, more personalized side of patient care. Dive into caring for post-angiography patients, managing cardiac drips, and supporting those with trachs or vents. It’s a role that demands precision and compassion without the high patient ratios of bigger units—expect a manageable 1:4 ratio. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your skills in a reputable Level II Trauma Center, while enjoying the benefits of a supportive hospital environment without the heavy load of patient care beyond your scope. It’s a perfect blend of challenge and camaraderie, where each shift counts and your expertise makes a difference.
