Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1970 - $2020
• Location: Muskegon, MI (49440) — Muskegon physical therapy jobs, Michigan travel PT jobs
• Assignment Duration: 12 weeks (April 6, 2026 – June 28, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site — hospital physical therapist, home health certified unit
• No weekends or holidays required

Job Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Michigan (required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist in a hospital or home health setting (hospital PT, home health physical therapist)
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Completion of onboarding health screenings and background checks (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Fit Test, 2 Step PPD or IGRA, Physical/Health Statement, Color Vision, Respirator Evaluation, 10 Panel Drug Screen)
• Valid driver's license or state ID
• Successful completion of competency testing and skills checklist

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy and rehabilitation services in a hospital-based home health unit
• Assess patient mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities to create individualized treatment plans
• Implement evidence-based interventions to improve patient independence, safety, and functional outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including nurses, physicians, and home health staff to coordinate care
• Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress accurately in EPIC EMR
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques, fall prevention, and home exercise programs
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with hospital and home health standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in home health or hospital-based home health certified units
• Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills
• Excellent patient education and communication skills
