Job description
Join us as a ICU registered nurse on a 13-week contract in Peoria, Illinois, working 12-hour nights in a high-acuity critical care setting. This role offers a chance to hone advanced skills in ventilated and sedated patient care, including titrating vasopressors and managing drips like Precedex and Propofol. You’ll be a vital part of a specialized team caring for respiratory failure, post-surgical, post-CVA, trauma, and cardiac patients, with primary care responsibilities in a unit consisting of eight beds. Unique to this assignment is the opportunity to work alongside in-house intensivists and telemetry staff 24/7, with minimal obligation beyond your scheduled shifts.
