Job description
Join our team as an ER Registered Nurse in Valdosta, Georgia, for an 8-week contract working 12-hour midnight shifts. You'll be providing critical support in a non-trauma designated ER that handles a diverse range of cases, including DKA, COPD, stroke, chest pain, abdominal pain, and psychiatric emergencies. This assignment offers a unique chance to gain experience in a facility that’s actively undergoing trauma designation review and leadership reorganization—bringing your skills to a site eager for fresh perspectives. With a schedule of three nights a week, you’ll be part of a team operating at a 1:4 patient ratio, floating to the COVID unit when needed. The role requires current Georgia or compact state licensure, ACLS, BLS, CPI, PALS, NIH, and TNCC certifications, along with at least two years of ER experience using EPIC charting. First-time travelers are welcome, but experience in a Level I Trauma Center, ventilated patient management, or triage is a plus. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your expertise while working in a supportive environment that values your contributions.
