Job description

Join a fast-paced orthopedic, neuro spine, and post-surgical unit in Winston-Salem, NC, for a 13-week travel contract as an Orthopedic RN. This role offers 12-hour day shifts, with the potential for 36 or 48 hours per week, providing a solid rhythm for work and personal time. Expect to step into a unit that values experienced nurses, where your skills in IV starts and telemetry will shine. You'll help manage a patient load of about 5-6:1, with occasional flexibility to 7:1, ensuring each patient receives attentive care. The unit particularly appreciates RNs with EPIC experience, and preferred certifications include BCLS, NIH, with ACLS being a bonus. No call duties are required, but floating across units within the facility is mandatory to meet staffing needs. If you're ready for a role that challenges your clinical skills, especially in pain management for orthopedic and spine surgery patients, this assignment could be your next opportunity.
