Job description
Join a busy ICU in Peoria, Illinois, for a 13-week contract as a registered nurse on the MICU night shift. You'll work 12-hour nights caring for critically ill patients, including cases of sepsis, ARDS, pneumonia, AKI, alcohol withdrawal, and overdose. Your responsibilities will include interpreting EKG strips, managing arterial and central lines, and titrating vasoactive and cardioactive drips—an opportunity to refine your advanced ICU skills. The unit features a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, a supportive team of nurse aides, and a 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist coverage.
