Job description
Join our Cardio Thoracic ICU team in Aurora for a 13-week travel assignment that offers a unique opportunity to work in a regional center specializing in advanced circulatory and respiratory support. As a registered nurse, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team managing complex cases such as open-heart surgeries, ventricular assist devices, and heart and lung transplants. The role requires flexibility with rotating 12-hour night shifts and handling a variety of patient acuities, with nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 2:1. This assignment is ideal for experienced CVICU nurses who thrive in high-acuity settings and want to make a meaningful impact in critically ill patients’ lives while exploring a new city.
