Job description
Join a specialized surgical oncology unit in Aurora, Colorado, for a 13-week travel assignment as a Registered Nurse. This role focuses on postoperative care for patients with cancer diagnoses, primarily related to the abdomen or pelvic area, following surgical interventions such as gynecologic oncology, colorectal, pancreatic, liver, or stomach procedures. The shift consists of 12-hour days during weekends only, offering a unique opportunity to experience a dedicated, fast-paced environment at a teaching hospital where your expertise will directly impact patient recovery milestones. This position is perfect for nurses with at least 2 years of acute care experience, including those new to travel nursing, provided they have recent teaching hospital exposure. You will be floating within scope and to sister facilities as needed, ensuring flexible staffing support in a collaborative setting.
