Job description
Join a dedicated cardiac telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse on a 12-week contract, working 12-hour day shifts. This role offers an engaging opportunity to monitor adult to geriatric patients with conditions such as post-MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, and peripheral vascular disease. You'll be performing vital signs and blood glucose checks independently, with the chance to work with advanced systems like Epic EHR and Pyxis medication dispensing. The unit prides itself on a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio and a focus on delivering high-quality care in a well-equipped environment. If you're a proactive RN with at least one year of experience and hold BLS and ACLS certifications, this assignment might be the perfect fit—especially if you're comfortable navigating telemetry, EKG, and Doppler equipment. As part of the team, you'll experience a collaborative setting, with opportunities to float within the scope of practice and contribute to patient recovery and stability.
