- Unit hours: 7 am - 5 pm; rounding typically 8:30 am - 4 pm
- Average patient load -- 12 patients per shift
- Acute inpatient psychiatric unit
- Wide range of psychiatric procedures required -- including H&Ps
- Involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraints required
- Pharmacotherapy required; group and family therapy preferred
