CT Technologist Travel Job Details

• Location: Cherokee, Iowa
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380–$2,550
• Start Date: November 30, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, ending March 1, 2027
• Healthcare Setting: Acute care hospital
• Specialty: Computed tomography and diagnostic imaging
• Schedule: Five 8-hour day shifts per week
• Call Requirements: One weeknight of call, plus weekend and holiday rotation
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Charting System: EPIC

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or CT Tech in a hospital or acute care setting
• Certification as a CT Technologist in Computed Tomography
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Ability to perform CT procedures safely, accurately, and efficiently
• Availability for scheduled call, weekend, and holiday rotations
• Current eligibility to practice as required for the assignment

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to established protocols and physician orders
• Prepare patients for computed tomography procedures, explain examinations, and promote comfort and safety
• Operate CT equipment and obtain high-quality images for radiologist interpretation
• Screen patients for contraindications and follow applicable radiation safety practices
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the hospital care team
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in EPIC
• Respond to scheduled call coverage and support weekend and holiday diagnostic imaging needs
