• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Shift Schedule: 4 x 10-hour day shifts, approximately 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920 - $2,060
• Setting: Hospital-based diagnostic radiology

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in radiology, radiation safety, or patient care preferred
• ARRT certification required
• State licensure required or preferred as applicable to the assignment location
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with C-Arm required
• Experience in surgery, the operating room, the emergency department, portable imaging, and inpatient/outpatient diagnostics highly preferred
• Experience with EPIC and PACS preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy, safety, and professionalism
• Obtain patient history and ensure required documentation is complete prior to exams
• Position and immobilize patients appropriately while prioritizing comfort and cooperation
• Apply radiation safety principles and ALARA standards to protect patients, staff, and self
• Operate imaging equipment and related accessories to produce high-quality images
• Assist with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures as needed
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications or contrast when appropriate and authorized
• Document patient care, dose exposure, and exam details accurately in the medical record
• Evaluate images for technical quality and repeat or adjust exams when necessary
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other team members to support excellent patient care
