Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $20.35, Stipend (Lodging $896.00 + M&I $588.00) = $1,484.00, 

Total Comp: $2,216.60

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

•  12 hour shift, Days, 7a-7p, 

• Shifts may vary based on needs - can be 7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a

Nursing Specialty:  RN - Pediatric Psychiatric 

RN - Pediatric Psychiatric Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to children and adolescents with behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs.

• Assess patients’ physical and psychiatric conditions, monitor behavior and changes in condition, and provide appropriate interventions.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patients for effectiveness and potential side effects.

• Maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment while following established safety and behavioral health protocols.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to support individualized treatment plans.

• Educate and support patients and families regarding treatment, medications, coping strategies, and ongoing care needs.

• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, patient responses, and progress.

Minimum Qualifications 

• Active CO State Registered Nurse License

• BSN, Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

• Minimum 2 years RN experience in behavioral health (4 if without bachelors)

• Minimum 1 year pediatric behavioral health experience.

• ED pediatric experience, Psych inpatient experience, emergency department experience 

• Active BLS

• Additional certifications may be required

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
