Shift Details:

• 07:00AM- 03:300PM

Recreational Therapist Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ needs, interests, and abilities to develop individualized recreational therapy plans.

• Plan and lead therapeutic activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well-being.

• Adapt activities to accommodate patients’ abilities, conditions, and treatment goals.

• Monitor patient participation and progress and adjust activities or treatment plans as needed.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to support overall treatment goals.

• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, activities, patient responses, and progress.

Minimum Qualifications 

• Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of one (1) year related work experience within the last 3 years.

• RRT or CRT

• Additional certifications may be required.

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
