Job description
Step into a rewarding 13-week contract in the Critical Care Unit at Tristar Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee. As an experienced critical care nurse, you'll be working 12-hour day shifts in a state-of-the-art environment equipped with GE monitors, Alaris pumps, and Puritan Bennett ventilators. Your responsibilities will include managing arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths, cardiovascular and vasopressor drips, and ventilated patients. This role offers the opportunity to utilize your skills in bedside central line placements and the Massive Transfusion Protocol, all while supporting a patient ratio of 2:1. The team is supported by unit secretaries on day and night shifts, with occasional tech assistance. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and have a minimum of one year of critical care experience with Meditech and ACLS certifications, this assignment is tailored for you.
