Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with Labor & Delivery experience
• At least 2 years of recent L&D nursing experience
• BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification/competency
• Strong experience with cervical exams, antepartum care, labor management, IVs, Pitocin, epidurals, and amnio infusions
• Experience circulating C-sections and assisting with baby catching/receiving
• Working knowledge of APGAR assessments and breastfeeding support
• Comfort with postpartum care from transition through discharge is strongly preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients in a hospital Birth Center
• Assess patients, monitor fetal status, and respond to changes in condition quickly and effectively
• Support vaginal deliveries and assist with C-section circulation as needed
• Perform key Labor & Delivery nursing procedures including cervical exams, fetal monitoring, IV starts, and medication administration
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, scrub staff, and the broader care team to ensure smooth patient flow
• Educate and support families through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment focused on quality maternal and newborn outcomes
