Job Description

Job Title: Macedonian Language Expert

Job Type: Contractor

Job Summary:

Join our customer’s team as a Macedonian Language Expert and play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and accuracy of AI-driven language solutions. You’ll leverage your advanced linguistic skills to support the development and optimization of cutting-edge AI technologies, transforming how Macedonian is understood and processed by machines.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, edit, and refine Macedonian language data for AI training purposes, ensuring all content meets the highest standards of accuracy and naturalness.
Translate a variety of materials from English to Macedonian and vice versa with cultural and contextual sensitivity.
Collaborate closely with AI scientists and engineers to improve language models and annotate linguistic data sets.
Evaluate and provide detailed feedback on Macedonian language tasks, helping to drive continuous improvement of AI outputs.
Develop and curate glossaries, style guides, and documentation to maintain linguistic consistency and quality.
Perform comprehensive quality assurance checks on AI-generated content to ensure precision and reliability.
Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, offering expert advice and linguistics insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Native or near-native proficiency in Macedonian, with exceptional command of grammar, syntax, and semantics.
Proven experience in professional editing, writing, and translation involving Macedonian.
Impeccable attention to detail and a passion for linguistic accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex ideas clearly and professionally.
Demonstrated expertise in reviewing, annotating, and evaluating language data.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced remote environment.
Familiarity with digital tools and collaboration platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience as an AI language trainer or with AI/NLP projects involving Macedonian.
Background in linguistics, computational linguistics, or a related field.
Experience developing resources such as glossaries or style guides for language teams.
