Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Current permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred or required per unit expectations
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
• Must complete required compliance steps prior to start, including orientation assessments and pre-start modules
• Ability to work night shift and provide dependable, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and document care accurately in the patient record
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support treatment plans
• Prioritize patient needs, manage a steady assignment, and maintain strong clinical attention to detail
• Support a positive patient experience through clear communication and compassionate care
• Follow hospital standards, safety protocols, and unit-based procedures
