Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certifications required
- RNC certification preferred
- Strong assessment skills, sound clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work overnight shifts and support weekend/holiday coverage as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum support
- Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
- Assist with deliveries and provide hands-on support to families during birth
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the care team to coordinate seamless care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols and best practices
- Help create a reassuring, supportive environment for patients and families
