• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,480 - $2,610
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• End Date: January 18, 2027
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Schedule Notes: Weekend coverage may be required to meet staffing needs
• Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Environment: Culturally diverse patient population with high-risk OB care

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Current California RN license in hand; compact license must be active at submission if applicable
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience caring for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Comfort working with high-risk obstetric patients and circulating on cesarean sections
• Ability to work in a team-based environment with a flexible approach to floating as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to changing clinical needs promptly
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and high-risk obstetric procedures
• Support postpartum recovery, newborn assessments, and family education
• Administer medications and therapies as ordered, including oxytocin, magnesium sulfate, and other obstetric interventions
• Perform fetal monitoring, assess labor progression, and document care accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Maintain a positive, professional approach while supporting a busy unit with diverse patient needs
