• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,480 - $2,610
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, as needed to support staffing
• Float Requirement: Yes, travelers may float within scope to meet facility needs
• First-Time Traveler Friendly: Yes

Job Requirements

• Active California RN license required at submission
• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Experience with postpartum care preferred
• Previous experience using Epic charting required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP
• Ability to care for high-risk obstetric patients in a culturally diverse healthcare setting
• Strong clinical experience with antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care
• Comfortable with floating within scope as needed
• Ability to meet scheduling expectations, including holiday coverage as assigned

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
• Support high-risk OB patients and collaborate with the care team during cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries
• Monitor fetal status, assess maternal wellbeing, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Assist with circulation for C-sections and perform newborn and postpartum assessments
• Educate and support patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care
• Administer medications and therapies related to obstetric care, including IVs, blood products, and labor management protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow unit standards for safe, evidence-based care
• Collaborate with physicians, specialty staff, and interdisciplinary support teams to promote excellent outcomes
