• Estimated Weekly Pay: $880 - $940
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Shift: 5 shifts per week, 8-hour evenings
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend and holidays required
• Location: Geneva, NY 14456

Job Requirements

• Current New York State Nursing Assistant Certification
• BLS certification through AHA or RQI only
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of prior CNA or long-term care experience required
• Ability to provide compassionate, dependable resident care in a fast-paced long-term care environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
• Provide turning, positioning, skin care, and catheter care as outlined in the care plan
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents in the long-term care setting
• Respond promptly to call lights, alarms, and resident needs
• Assist with nutrition-related needs such as meal delivery, tray setup, feeding, and nourishments
• Support restorative care activities, including range of motion, ambulation, transfers, and proper body alignment
• Monitor for safety concerns, fall risks, and equipment issues, and report promptly to the charge or supervising nurse
• Document care and observations accurately according to policy and procedure
• Honor residents' rights, preferences, refusals, and concerns with professionalism and respect
