• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Pattern: Approximately 3 shifts per week, with day and night rotations based on unit needs
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270
• Start Date: 11/2/2026
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Unit Focus: Acute leukemia and hematology

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Recent acute care experience within the last 12 months in the specialty area
• Experience in MS oncology and at least 1 inpatient hematology oncology setting
• Travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• ONS Chemotherapy certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong background in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Ability to provide 2 professional references, including 1 from a manager or director
• Ability to work a rotating schedule with variable weekend coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with acute leukemia and hematology-oncology diagnoses
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, IV antibiotics, electrolytes, and related therapies safely and accurately
• Monitor telemetry, recognize rhythm changes, and respond appropriately to patient condition changes
• Support infection prevention and patient fall prevention initiatives
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, implanted ports, and peripheral IV access
• Perform blood draws, IV starts, and medication administration with attention to safety and accuracy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
• Float to other MedSurg Oncology units as needed
• Document patient care in Epic and communicate changes in status promptly
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a specialized oncology environment
