• Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Contract Duration: 16 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience, with current experience in the specialty within the last 12 months
• Active compact or state Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS required
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong Med/Surg Tele skills, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with pain interventions and equianalgesic opioid dosing preferred
• Ability to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing education preferred/required per assignment guidelines
• Professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or other formal leader

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients with serious and life-limiting illnesses
• Support symptom management for pain, nausea/vomiting, fatigue, and failure to thrive
• Monitor telemetry, assess cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and manage therapies safely and accurately
• Implement both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic pain management strategies
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support goals of care and patient comfort
• Provide patient and family education with empathy, dignity, and respect
• Float to comparable inpatient units when assigned based on staffing needs
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in Epic
