Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of combined Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred or required per submission requirements
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty from the past 12 months
• Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate during orientation
• Must be prepared to complete all pre-start compliance requirements and required modules

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to Medical-Surgical Telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition promptly
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on clinical needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support excellent patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in a timely and thorough manner
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and positive patient experiences throughout the shift
