Job Details

• Position: Med-Surg Tele Registered Nurse
• Location: Warrensville Heights, Ohio 44122
• Setting: On-site medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 18 weeks
• Start Date: 10/23/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• References from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty are required
• Must have active credentials available at submission; pending items are not accepted
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Background and license records must be clear; open cases are not accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify changes in patient condition promptly
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, orientation requirements, and ongoing competency expectations
