CVOR Tech – Travel Assignment in York, Pennsylvania

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770-$1,900
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule (06:00 - 16:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Setting: Hospital CVOR / Cardiac Open Heart Surgery
• Schedule Expectations: Alternating days off, call coverage with a 30-minute response time, weekends every 3rd or 4th weekend, and holidays as needed
• Floating: As needed
• Orientation: 30 hours
• Location: York, PA

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Open-heart surgery experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• NBSTSA certification required; NCCT is not accepted
• BLS required
• EPIC experience strongly preferred
• AHA or ARC certifications only
• Ability to work a call schedule with a 30-minute response time
• Must be comfortable with holiday coverage and weekend rotation
• Candidate must not have any license hits

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiovascular and open-heart surgical procedures in the operating room
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field while supporting safe perioperative workflow
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment for complex cardiac procedures
• Support procedures such as CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, EVAR, aneurysm repair, and related cardiovascular interventions
• Follow universal protocol, sharps safety, radiation safety, and infection-control practices
• Accurately manage specimen handling, labeling, and other intraoperative tasks
• Respond to call coverage and provide reliable support for weekend and holiday scheduling needs
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative team members to help ensure smooth surgical cases
