• Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,970 - $2,110
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Location: York, PA 17403
• Highlights: Live and work in a vibrant South-Central Pennsylvania community with small-city convenience, historic charm, and easy access to outdoor recreation and nearby metro areas.
• Call / Weekend Coverage: 1-2 call days per week with a 30-minute response time; every 3rd or 4th weekend
• Floating: As needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Open heart surgery experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• NBSTSA certification required; NCCT not accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Experience with cardiac and vascular procedures preferred, including CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, EVAR, and VAD cases
• Ability to work holidays as needed, including major holiday coverage per contract
• Willingness to maintain a tobacco- and fragrance-free work environment
• Must be comfortable working with adult patient populations

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team during cardiac and open-heart procedures
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field throughout surgical cases
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs during complex cardiovascular procedures
• Support safe operating room practices, including time-outs, specimen handling, and sharps safety
• Set up, manage, and troubleshoot equipment used in CVOR cases
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and OR staff to ensure efficient case flow
• Provide high-quality support during specialized procedures such as angioplasty/stenting, aneurysm repair, and TAVR
• Follow facility protocols related to infection prevention, isolation precautions, and radiation safety
