Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Occupational Therapist licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- At least 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience required
- Experience in acute rehab or acute care settings preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient-centered care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in the Acute Rehab department
- Float to Acute Inpatient care when census requires additional support
- Develop, update, and carry out individualized plans of care
- Complete patient assessments, tests, and treatment documentation accurately
- Support patients in restoring daily living, vocational, and independence skills
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, support staff, and families
- Provide clinical supervision to assistants and aides as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant treatment environment
