Job Details

• Setting: Outpatient mammography and imaging
• Location: Oakland, CA 94609
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,620 - $2,820
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with rotating weekend coverage as needed
• Work Environment: Multiple imaging locations, including a mobile unit
• Patient Population: Adult patients
• Charting System: Epic experience preferred

Mammography Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in mammography or radiologic technology
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• CRT and California Mammography Licensure required
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Experience with diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, Hologic 3D, and screening mammograms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location healthcare setting
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography exams with accuracy and compassion
• Support diagnostic mammography and screening mammography workflows
• Float between multiple imaging locations and a mobile van as needed
• Operate advanced mammography equipment and maintain proper imaging standards
• Document patient information and complete charting in Epic
• Follow all safety, quality, and infection control procedures
• Deliver excellent patient care while helping ensure smooth daily operations
