Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience
• Active California RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Strong telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and med/surg/stepdown skill set
• Experience caring for ventilated patients preferred
• Ability to work weekends and at least one holiday during the assignment
• Must be comfortable floating within scope to TELE/DOU units, ICU, and Observation Care as needed
• Valid documentation and references required at time of submission

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients on a telemetry and medical-surgical unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess for changes in condition, and respond appropriately to patient needs
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and coordinate care plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Support patients with telemetry, stepdown, and observation-level needs while working within scope of practice
• Float to ICU, TELE/DOU, and Observation Care units as required by facility needs
• Document accurately using the facility charting system and follow established clinical workflows
• Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and high standards of patient care throughout the assignment
