Job Details

• Position: Operating Room (OR) Tech
• Employment Type: Travel Healthcare Assignment
• Setting: Operating Room / Surgical Services / Perioperative Care
• Location: Aurora, CO 80045
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule (06:45 - 19:15)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,420 - $1,530
• Call Requirement: Up to 3 call shifts in an 8-week schedule period
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, based on unit needs
• Float Requirement: May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Scrubs: Provided

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of overall operating room experience
• Level I trauma center experience required
• Level II trauma experience required
• Travel experience required
• BLS certification required
• DORA certification required
• Experience supporting a broad range of surgical specialties and procedures
• Ability to work scheduled day shifts with occasional alternate start times as needed
• Must be comfortable with weekend coverage and on-call expectations

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team with intraoperative support in a high-volume operating room environment
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for a wide range of surgical procedures
• Support cases across general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, GU/GYN, plastics, and other specialty services
• Maintain a sterile field and follow established surgical safety and infection control protocols
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs to help promote efficient case flow
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to support high-quality patient care
• Adapt to changing unit needs, including floating within scope when required
• Contribute to a patient-focused, team-oriented OR culture
