This 13-week travel assignment is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operating Room Tech / Surgical Technologist who thrives in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment and enjoys working a wide variety of surgical cases.

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,420 - $1,530
• Unit Type: Operating Room, Level I Trauma Center
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Call: Required, up to 3 call shifts in an 8-week period
• Weekend Coverage: Required based on unit needs
• Floating: May float within scope to like units as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of overall Operating Room (OR) experience
• Level I or Level II trauma experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Current DORA certification
• Experience with a wide variety of surgical procedures, including general, neuro, ortho/trauma, GU/GYN, plastics, ENT, and cardiovascular cases
• Ability to work variable weekdays and occasional later start times as needed
• Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for a broad range of surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and support safe, efficient intraoperative workflow
• Assist surgeons and perioperative staff during complex trauma and specialty cases
• Set up instruments, supplies, and equipment according to procedure needs
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Support case turnover and room readiness to help keep the OR running smoothly
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver excellent patient care throughout the perioperative experience
