Physical Therapist Job Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• Current Physical Therapist licensure or eligibility to work in Indiana
• 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience required
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to evaluate patients, build treatment plans, and adjust care as needed
• Strong documentation, communication, and time-management skills
• Ability to work within state practice standards and clinical guidelines

Outpatient Therapy Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and progress
• Support functional recovery and help patients return to daily and community activities
• Document care accurately and in a timely manner, including goals, progress notes, and charge entry
• Collaborate with physicians and care team members to ensure coordinated treatment
• Promote patient safety, maintain compliance with policies and regulations, and uphold professional standards
• Contribute to a positive learning environment for students and participate in ongoing professional growth
