Job Details

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,100 - $2,250
• Schedule: Flexibility to assist with additional shifts, call, overtime, or holidays as needed

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
• Current BLS certification required, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• At least 1 year of CT technologist experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience with PACS and RIS/HIS preferred
• Cross-training in additional modalities such as MRI, DEXA, or Mammography is a plus
• Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings and background checks
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform specialized CT procedures using CT scanners, power injectors, and related imaging equipment
• Position patients properly for exams while maintaining safety, comfort, and radiation protection
• Follow imaging department and radiologist protocols for all exams
• Assist radiologists with routine and interventional CT procedures
• Evaluate image quality, organize processed images, and ensure accurate labeling and transmission
• Administer or order oral contrast and demonstrate proficiency in IV placement for contrast studies
• Practice radiation safety and ALARA standards at all times
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate maintenance needs appropriately
• Maintain accurate records in the electronic health record, including charges and supplies
• Support other imaging and clinic functions as needed, including clerical tasks, patient transport, and cross-training
• Maintain supply inventory and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
