Physical Therapist Job Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience preferred; 6 months to 1+ year of experience is strongly valued
• Active and applicable Physical Therapist license for the state of Indiana
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills
• Ability to provide care in a fast-paced outpatient environment while maintaining a patient-centered approach

Physical Therapy Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Implement and modify therapy interventions to support functional recovery and discharge planning
• Document evaluations, progress notes, goal updates, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner
• Provide education to patients, families, students, and team members as appropriate
• Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with professional standards, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements
• Support patient safety, maintain a positive clinical environment, and contribute to quality improvement efforts
• Participate in professional development and uphold ethical, discipline-specific practice standards
