• Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long-Term Care Travel Assignment
• Setting: Long-term care
• Employment Type: Travel healthcare job
• Schedule: Full-time day and/or night shifts as needed
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holidays required
• Contract Length: Approximately 18 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $950 - $1,020
• Orientation: Must be available for first-day orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday

Job Requirements

• Active New York State Nursing Assistant Certification
• BLS certification from AHA or RQI
• At least 1 year of long-term care or CNA experience
• Must have been licensed for at least 1 year
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to support adult and geriatric residents with professionalism and compassion
• Comfort working in a healthcare setting with potential exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissues

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect resident care under the direction of licensed nursing personnel
• Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, turning, positioning, and skin care
• Maintain resident safety by responding to call lights promptly, supporting fall prevention, and helping ensure a clean, comfortable environment
• Assist with meals, tray setup, feeding, hydration, and honoring resident preferences when possible
• Support restorative care needs such as range of motion, ambulation, transfers, proper body alignment, and use of assistive devices
• Document care accurately and report resident concerns, changes in condition, and refusals in a timely manner
• Work collaboratively with the nursing team to promote quality care and a positive resident experience
