• Estimated Weekly Pay: $850 - $910
• Duration: 18 weeks
• Schedule: Part-time evenings
• Shift Pattern: 3x7.5-hour shifts or 2x7.5-hour shifts
• Rotation: Every other weekend and holidays
• Orientation: Must be able to begin orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday
• Openings: 8

Job Requirements

• Active New York State Nursing Assistant certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA or RQI accepted)
• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year of previous long-term care or CNA experience required
• Ability to provide dependable, resident-centered care in a fast-paced skilled nursing or long-term care environment
• Comfort working with occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens and related clinical tasks

Responsibilities

• Support residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, turning, positioning, and skin care
• Maintain resident safety by responding promptly to call lights and alarms, supporting fall prevention measures, and helping ensure a clean, secure environment
• Assist with meal service, feeding, nourishment, tray preparation, and use of adaptive equipment while honoring resident preferences
• Provide restorative and maintenance care such as range of motion, ambulation, transfers, proper body alignment, and use of assistive devices
• Document care accurately and promptly according to facility protocols
• Report resident concerns, refusals, and changes in physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the charge or supervising nurse in a timely manner
