Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Active Virginia Respiratory Therapist license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Experience working 12-hour night shifts reliably
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a patient-focused approach
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients across the hospital
• Perform respiratory assessments and implement care plans as ordered
• Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, nebulized treatments, and ventilator support
• Respond to changing patient conditions with professionalism and urgency
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols and safety standards
