• Setting: Cardiac Stepdown / Medical Stepdown

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Days
• Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Medical Stepdown, Telemetry, or a similar acute care setting preferred
• Active Registered Nurse license in the practicing state
• Strong cardiac assessment, telemetry monitoring, and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Stepdown unit
• Monitor patient conditions, cardiac rhythms, and response to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate care as appropriate
