• Setting: Hospital-based imaging
• Location: Jackson, Tennessee
• Assignment Length: 6 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
• Shifts Per Week: 4
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,090
• Patient Population: Adults
• Daily Volume: Approximately 8 visits per day
• On-Call: Not required
• Weekends/Holidays: No weekends and no holidays

Sonographer Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of sonography experience required
• Experience with echocardiography required
• Vascular ultrasound experience preferred, including lower extremities, carotids, and ABIs
• Active ARDMS certification required
• RDCS, RVT, or RCS credential required
• BLS certification required
• Recent Epic experience required and must be documented on the profile
• Ability to pass Epic competency testing
• Active Tennessee or compact license required at time of submission

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound and sonography procedures in a hospital imaging environment
• Complete echocardiography studies with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Support vascular ultrasound procedures when needed, including studies of lower extremities, carotids, and ABIs
• Document exams thoroughly and maintain strong charting practices in Epic
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to support smooth patient flow and timely imaging services
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining safety and quality standards
