Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience in oncology nursing, infusion therapy, or a closely related outpatient setting
• Current chemotherapy and biotherapy certification required
• BLS certification required
• Recent Epic experience within the past 2 years required
• Experience administering chemotherapy in a clinic or outpatient infusion setting required
• Strong background in adult hematology/oncology preferred
• Reliable transportation recommended for this Vermont healthcare location

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult hematology/oncology patients receiving infusion therapy
• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments according to established protocols
• Monitor patients closely during treatments and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Document care accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication with the care team
• Support an efficient outpatient workflow while maintaining an excellent patient experience
• Maintain adherence to infection prevention, medication safety, and clinic standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality oncology care
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment in a busy outpatient cancer care clinic
