Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,190 - $2,434
• Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania
• Setting: Endoscopy
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Call: One weekday per week and one weekend per month; weekday call is Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM - 6:30 AM, and weekend call is Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM
• Additional Scheduling Notes: Every other holiday and every other weekend as needed

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required
• Previous Endoscopy or procedural nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient care skills
• Ability to participate in call rotation and flexible scheduling needs
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures and complete pre-procedure assessments
• Monitor patients during and after procedures, documenting responses and clinical status
• Assist physicians and procedural team members during Endoscopy cases
• Administer medications and support sedation recovery in accordance with facility protocols and scope of practice
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow
• Participate in on-call coverage and support patient care needs during scheduled call periods
