Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute care Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
• Current Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience with Epic preferred/required for unit workflow
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
• Strong communication skills in English, including reading, writing, and speaking

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care for a group of telemetry patients in an acute care setting
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments according to policy and patient condition
• Develop, prioritize, implement, and revise individualized plans of care
• Monitor, document, and evaluate patient responses to clinical interventions
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support quality outcomes
• Deliver patient and family education throughout the stay and at discharge
• Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and unlicensed staff members
• Support teamwork, quality improvement, safety initiatives, and evidence-based practice on the unit
• Serve as a mentor or preceptor as needed while promoting excellent patient satisfaction and care standards
