Job Requirements

• 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or a closely related acute care specialty required
• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current RN certification required
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Must be able to meet all compliance and onboarding requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care as a Med/Surg Tele RN on a night shift schedule
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in a medical-surgical and orthopedic setting
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses thoroughly and in a timely manner
• Maintain patient safety and support an organized, efficient workflow throughout the shift
• Follow all clinical protocols, assessment standards, and orientation requirements
