Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 2 attempts
• Ability to submit any requested time off at the time of submission
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and confidence working night shift

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care to medical-surgical patients in an inpatient setting
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely
• Support patient and family education throughout the care process
• Maintain a calm, professional presence in a fast-paced hospital environment
