Travel Registered Nurse - Home Health & Hospice Contract in Morgantown, WV
Seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Morgantown, West Virginia. Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in West Virginia
- Home health experience
- Experience with HCHB and OASIS
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and occasional weekend coverage
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status and implement individualized care plans
- Provide skilled nursing care for well, chronic, or acutely ill individuals in home and community settings
- Monitor medications, ensure accurate documentation, and support safe medication practices
- Complete daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual nursing documentation as required
- Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and other members of the care team
- Coordinate care with providers, discharge teams, and other healthcare professionals
- Support staff education and training related to health, safety, and disease prevention
- Help ensure supplies, equipment, and furnishings are maintained to support a safe care environment
