• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call: 10-12 days per month
• Scheduling: Block scheduling
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab, radiology, or cardiovascular procedural experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Active Texas state license
• ARRT R or RCIS required
• Experience with scrub and monitor roles in a cath lab or interventional setting
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, hemodynamic monitoring, and procedural workflow
• Experience with cardiology, vascular, or interventional radiology cases preferred
• Ability to participate in rotating call coverage, including weekends and weeknights

Responsibilities

• Scrub and monitor during cardiology, vascular intervention, and IR procedures
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab cases
• Support hemodynamic monitoring and accurate procedural documentation
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, equipment, and supplies
• Provide technical support for advanced interventions, including thrombolysis/thrombectomy and device cases as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Participate in call coverage and support urgent/emergent procedures when needed
