• Position: Registered Nurse - CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Start Date: 10/05/2026

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in CVICU, cardiac ICU, or a closely related critical care specialty
• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts as needed
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition testing and safe medication assessment during orientation
• Prior experience in a high-acuity cardiac or cardiovascular surgery setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high-quality care to critically ill cardiovascular and cardiac surgery patients
• Monitor hemodynamic status, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with ICU clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress thoroughly and accurately in the medical record
• Support a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellent patient care in a fast-paced Cardiovascular ICU environment
• Adapt to rotating schedule requirements and maintain flexibility to meet unit needs
